Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) - Bilingual in English and Spanish - Proficient in troubleshooting Windows, macOS, and Linux environments - Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, VPN, and TCP/IP - Knowledge of platforms like AZURE, INTUNE, and IVANTI - Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, and Zendesk - Basic scripting skills in PowerShell or Bash are advantageous - Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication, especially for non-technical users - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Preferred IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator - Experience with enterprise security solutions including firewall, antivirus, and endpoint protection - Previous customer-facing IT support experience

Responsibilities

- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to team members - Respond to IT support inquiries via email, phone, or our ticketing system - Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues - Escalate complex challenges to higher-tier IT support as needed - Manage IT assets and systems effectively - Install, configure, and update software and hardware as required - Maintain user accounts and manage access control and permissions using Active Directory, Google Workspace, etc. - Ensure thorough documentation of technical issues and their resolutions - Assist users with Cloud and SaaS applications - Support end-users with Office 365, Google Workspace, and other productivity tools - Troubleshoot VPN, remote desktop, and cloud-based application issues - Educate users on best practices for IT security - Aid in data backup and recovery processes - Monitor and report potential security threats

We are a financial firm based in Miami, FL, actively seeking a Help Desk Specialist to enhance our team of 60 professionals. This role is an onsite position, operating five days a week, and offers a competitive pay rate between $40 to $45 per hour. We emphasize providing robust technical support and fostering a secure IT environment while supporting various applications and systems.
