Requirements
Must:
- 6-10 years of experience implementing data quality programs in a large global banking or Big Four consulting environment
- In-depth knowledge of Client ICM, Capital Markets, Commercial Banking, Security & Issuer Services, Research, Reference, and Master Data
- Proven track record in managing and resolving significant data quality issues across various sectors
- Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to present a balanced view to key stakeholders, senior management, and IT partners
- Strong communication and diplomacy skills for influencing and guiding others, including colleagues and external clients
- A basic understanding of commercial awareness within the industry
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field; Masters degree is preferred
- Data Quality/Data Management Certification is favored
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive data activities, including analysis, maintenance, quality assurance, and remediation management for one or multiple business lines
- Focus on resolving intricate issues or transactions, requiring in-depth interpretation of policies and guidelines
- Assume full ownership of one or more processes, reports, or products, acting as analytical or procedural experts
- Oversee and mentor junior-level employees in their daily tasks
- Prepare and deliver status updates for working groups, steering committees, and executive teams
- Assess risks diligently when making business decisions, prioritizing the firms reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets
- Drive compliance with relevant laws and regulations while maintaining high ethical standards and transparency in reporting control issues
Description
We are a financial firm seeking a Data Quality Analyst to become a part of our team in Irving, TX, for a duration of one year. Our SM&C Data Office plays a vital role in managing Bankings operations and fulfilling various regulatory and management reporting requirements. We collaborate closely with multiple sectors, including Data Operations, Services, Markets, and Global Functions, to enhance our data quality management practices. Our focus is on improving controls and efficiencies, and ensuring compliance in our Controlled Data Management Environment.
