Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in cybersecurity (experience in financial services is advantageous)
- Proven track record in managing security incidents
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in analyzing log data and utilizing threat intelligence platforms
- Knowledge of security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, and cloud security solutions
- Scripting or automation skills in languages like Python or PowerShell (preferred)
- Familiarity with digital forensics, threat hunting, or vulnerability management (preferred)
- Relevant industry certifications including GCIH, GCIA, CEH, Security+, or CySA+ (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts, logs, and sources of threat intelligence to detect potential incidents
- Participate in comprehensive incident response activities, including triage, containment, eradication, and recovery
- Perform root-cause analysis and provide actionable recommendations for remediation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and swift response during incidents
- Enhance security tools, automation processes, and dashboards for better performance
- Contribute to improving our overall security posture by implementing proactive threat detection measures
Description
