Requirements

Must:
- Proficiency in Cloud services across one or more providers including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. - Strong skills in automation with the ability to design and implement workflows. - Expertise in PowerShell or other scripting languages aimed at automation solutions. - Experience in developing and refining infrastructure as code using Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or CloudFormation. - Hands-on operational knowledge of Azure or AWS. - Familiarity with monitoring and log aggregation tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Splunk, and ELK. - Basic understanding of IT tools across various domains for better automation comprehension. - Fundamental knowledge of public versus private networking in cloud environments. - Proficient in Git, focusing on merging and branching strategies. - Capability to execute proof of concepts and implement complex solutions effectively. - Understanding of standard Software Development Life Cycle processes and workflows related to infrastructure. - Basic knowledge of the Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence) is advantageous. - Previous experience using orchestration tools (e.g., Rundeck/Cutover) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., HashiCorp Terraform). - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey concepts clearly to both business and technical stakeholders. - Strong technical aptitude for diagnosis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving, with the ability to articulate findings to business and IT teams for swift resolutions. - Ability to influence stakeholders beyond immediate authority, negotiate effectively, and resolve conflicts with users, IT partners, and vendors. - High-level commitment to customer service and delivering quality outcomes to internal stakeholders in a dynamic environment. - Strong sense of urgency and accountability, with exceptional time management abilities. - Comfortable engaging with business end users, technical IT teams, network partners, and vendors. - Adaptable to a fast-paced setting with shifting priorities and schedules.

Responsibilities

- Identify and enhance operational efficiencies for optimal Cloud resource delivery, access management, and security implementations. - Provide support for production workloads in a multi-Cloud setting, encompassing monitoring, patching, backup, and restoration of Cloud resources. - Deliver Cloud infrastructure solutions for partner integration. - Develop and maintain automation and infrastructure as code solutions for resource provisioning and policy, utilizing PowerShell/Azure DevOps, Ansible, and other corporate automation platforms. - Exhibit a solid understanding of orchestration and automation practices at scale, with a focus on designing solutions for cross-team utilization. - Collaborate with version control tools like Github and Azure DevOps, focusing on repository management, pipeline as code, and software development workflows. - Possess fundamental debugging skills pertaining to application infrastructure, databases, networking, and DNS. - Design, create, and sustain complex Infrastructure as Code and Pipelines as Code solutions for reusability. - Work alongside internal teams and vendors to integrate various systems into our central ITSM/ITOM platform, ServiceNow. - Engage in automated monitoring system implementations for event tracking, alerting, and performance metrics. - Drive client engagement opportunities and promote mechanisms for adapting, improving, and simplifying infrastructure and related processes. - Foster close collaborations with support teams across different sectors for smooth implementation and knowledge sharing. - Ensure proper handover of new or updated systems and documentation to the team for continuous 24/7 support.
