Requirements
Must:
- At least 4 years of experience in an engineering role within an MSP environment
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills (customer service experience is advantageous)
- Strong understanding of change control, proper documentation, and effective communication
- Expertise with Windows Server, multi-site Active Directory, Advanced Group Policy Management, NPS, and RADIUS authentication
- Extensive virtualization experience (primarily Hyper-V, VMware, and related clustering technologies, including SAN management)
- Knowledge in VDI and/or session-based desktop design and implementation (Citrix, Microsoft RDS)
- Solid foundation in LAN and WAN infrastructure (IPSec VPN Tunnels, VLANs, routing, DHCP/DNS, SD-WAN)
- Security design experience and best practices for systems and networks, including implementation of Multifactor Authentication
- Coding or scripting knowledge (PowerShell, VBScript, or Python is beneficial)
- Experience in cloud infrastructure design, architecture, and administration (Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS)

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members, vendors, and clients to design and execute a variety of technical engineering projects
- Architect, build, and manage essential server infrastructure, firewalls, and both physical and wireless networks
- Conduct cloud migrations for services like Exchange, SharePoint, Entra ID/Intune, and Azure
- Perform complex administration tasks within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Take full responsibility for projects, architecture, or designs from initiation to completion
- Be adaptable to on-call hours, as some project tasks may occur during evenings or weekends
- Create and enhance both internal and client-facing documentation
- Participate in a rotational on-call schedule
