Requirements
Must:
- A solid technical background in cybersecurity, ideally with at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
- Ability to analyze security events and identify threats, patterns, and vulnerabilities
- Detail-oriented approach to investigating and resolving security incidents
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize effectively under pressure
- Understanding of Active Directory architecture with a focus on security and access risks
- Familiarity with core networking concepts (DHCP, DNS, routing, switching)
- Comprehension of Microsoft 365 security functionalities and cloud environment
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management tools
- Knowledge of incident response processes and lifecycle management
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary escalation point for intricate security incidents and investigations
- Design, implement, and optimize security solutions such as SIEM and EDR
- Lead thorough incident response efforts including investigation, containment, and remediation
- Develop automation strategies to enhance processes and reduce manual workload
- Research and assess new security tools and technologies
- Tune alerts to minimize false positives and improve detection accuracy
- Assist with compliance efforts through practical implementation of technical controls
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective deployment and maintenance of security measures
- Produce and maintain documentation and repeatable processes
- Contribute to the maturation of the Security Operations program
