Requirements
Must:
- Active Secret DoD Clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret DoD Clearance
- Full-time availability to work onsite at the Washington Navy Yard
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, along with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience, or equivalent work experience
- IAT II certification as mandated by DoD 8570
- Proven experience in hardening systems by following DISA’s Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
- Proficient in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 1912 LTSR and 2203 LTSR, as well as Citrix Workspace App 2203 LTSR or later
- Experience with Citrix Storefront and management of Citrix Application Virtualization
- Proven track record of planning and upgrading extensive Citrix VDI environments
- Skillful in configuring and customizing Citrix Netscaler Gateways
- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, including Windows 2016, 2019, 2022, and Windows 10
- Strong technical understanding of Active Directory, Network Attached Storage, VMWare, and Network Infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Identify requirements for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops systems by collaborating with customers and IT infrastructure teams
- Compile documentation and information to structure and accurately represent stakeholder requirements; design and implement agreed solutions while ensuring security requirements from DISA STIGs and industry best practices are included
- Manage and support the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops platforms version 1912 LTSR and 2203 LTSR
- Design and deploy additional capacities and capabilities using Citrix Desktop and Citrix Netscaler Gateway appliances
- Configure and maintain high-availability pairs of Citrix Netscaler Gateways
- Create and uphold desktop and server images utilized in Citrix deployments
- Ensure all Citrix applications are managed and supported, collaborating with customers on installations, upgrades, and requirements
- Manage and support Citrix Workspace App 2203 LTSR and later
- Provide support for Web Interface for remote and third-party access, as well as application virtualization
- Troubleshoot and resolve Tier II and III escalated Citrix issues
- Ensure the environment adheres to DISA STIGs, IAVAs, CTOs, and other security directives
