Requirements
Must:
- Minimum B.S. / M.S. in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution
- Over 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering backend applications using Node.JS, TypeScript, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and related frameworks
- More than 5 years of experience in creating internet-facing applications
- At least 5 years working with Cloud services and/or OpenShift, preferably with AWS
- Strong understanding of concepts including object-oriented programming, software engineering principles, quality engineering, parallel programming, and databases
- Expertise in building and utilizing RESTful APIs
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while adhering to deadlines
- Experience integrating APIs with frontend and/or mobile frameworks
- Excellent collaboration capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities
- Execute complex application programming focused on backend systems development: Node.JS, TypeScript, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, among others
- Lead the definition of system architecture and detailed solution designs that are both scalable and adaptable
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and fellow engineers to explore various options and identify optimal solutions
- Ensure code quality through personal testing, automate feature testing, and contribute to UI testing frameworks
- Serve as a subject matter expert for our mobile applications backend and middleware
- Deliver outstanding solutions to production that exceed expectations
- Mentor junior developers within the team
- Assist the technical team as required
- Participate in recruitment efforts to enhance the technical team
- Propose enhancements to streamline delivery processes
