Requirements
Must:
- Minimum B.S. / M.S. in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution
- Over 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering backend applications using Node.JS, TypeScript, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and related backend frameworks
- More than 5 years of experience creating internet-facing applications
- At least 5 years of experience with Cloud and/or OpenShift technologies, preferably with AWS
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software engineering principles, quality engineering, parallel programming, databases, etc.
- Skilled in building and utilizing RESTful APIs
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and consistently meeting established deadlines
- Experience in integrating APIs with frontend and/or mobile frameworks
- Exceptional collaboration abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities
- Engage in complex application programming tasks focusing on backend systems development including Node.JS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs
- Spearhead the formulation of system architecture and detailed solution designs that are scalable and extensible
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and fellow engineers to explore various approaches for optimal solutions
- Take responsibility for code quality, conduct personal testing, and contribute to the UI testing framework through automation
- Become a go-to expert in mobile application backends and middleware
- Deliver outstanding solutions to production that exceed expectations
- Mentor junior developers within the team
- Support the technical team as required
- Assist in interviewing and expanding the technical team
- Propose enhancements to streamline delivery processes
