Senior Systems Test Engineer

- Design and assess high-performance, rugged servers based on product or customer specifications - Manage risk and conduct root cause analysis, implementing corrective measures as necessary - Validate the compatibility of OSS hardware with third-party components such as CPUs, GPUs, and high-speed NICs - Develop and execute thorough design verification test plans and technical reports for complex, high-bandwidth systems - Lead testing for Thermal, Vibration, and Shock, outsourcing when needed, to ensure reliability in tactical edge conditions - Analyze system bottlenecks in PCIe switch fabrics to optimize data throughput for AI/ML workloads - Troubleshoot complex system-level failures, document issues, and collaborate with Electrical and Mechanical Engineering teams - Enhance internal OSS processes for development and testing - Evaluate and test proposed product design modifications, delivering necessary documentation and training to operators and technicians - Contribute to design documentation and participate in technical design reviews - Regularly communicate with team members, internal and external customers, and vendors - Collaborate with operations and manufacturing to implement design cost reductions and qualify new suppliers - Create, develop, and document new processes and test methods for small to medium-scale projects - Work collaboratively within a larger team on designing and developing medium to large product designs, processes, and test methods - Exhibit strong organizational and interpersonal skills in a cross-functional environment
