Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in ETL processes
- Proficiency in writing complex native SQL queries
- Experience with SQL Server and SSIS or a similar ETL tool
- Ability to create and manage ETL job flows and scheduling
- Competence in processing various file formats across diverse platforms
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and using Jira ticketing system
- Skill in managing multiple tasks across various projects
- Understanding of dataset functionality and its inputs and outputs
Responsibilities
- Design, create, automate, and maintain programs for data extraction, conversion, and loading
- Develop and sustain ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and establish data integration workflows
- Implement data validation and cleansing strategies to maintain data quality and consistency
- Document ETL processes, including data mappings, transformations, and workflows
- Monitor ETL jobs, addressing failures or issues for successful data integration
- Work closely with application developers and business analysts to fulfill data integration needs
- Partner with data modelers and architects to design data structures supporting efficient integration
- Administer and monitor the organizations databases for optimal performance and data integrity
- Install, configure, and upgrade database management systems and related software
- Execute regular database backups, recovery procedures, and capacity planning
- Optimize database queries and employ performance tuning techniques
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
