Requirements
Must:
I require candidates to have a minimum of 7 years of experience in an IT support capacity with a clear record of growing responsibilities. Demonstrable experience in providing technical assistance to executive-level personnel while maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion is essential. I look for a strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and iOS environments, along with a foundational understanding of networking principles such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. Familiarity with user and group management in Active Directory and/or Azure Active Directory is necessary. Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving abilities, enabling them to diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues independently. Exceptional communication skills are a must, allowing the explanation of complex concepts to individuals without technical expertise. Proficiency in managing a ticketing system while adhering to documentation standards is essential, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is crucial. A valid driver's license is required.
Responsibilities
As an IT Support Analyst, I will provide dedicated, timely, and professional technical support to senior executives and designated VIPs, both in-office and remotely. I will handle escalation for complex user-facing issues that necessitate advanced technical knowledge. I will be required on-site for at least 4 days a week in our Cherry Creek office, subject to change at our discretion. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to desktops, laptops (Windows/macOS), mobile devices (iOS/Android), printers, and peripherals will be a core part of my role. Additionally, I will manage user accounts and permissions across various platforms.
In terms of systems and network management, I will assist with managing and configuring essential IT systems, including Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and on-premises Active Directory. Basic network troubleshooting related to DHCP, DNS, VPN, and Wi-Fi will fall under my responsibilities. I will also support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of client-side applications and software, as well as understand and support the secure authentication and interaction of client devices with our networks and services.
Furthermore, I will manage and prioritize support requests effectively within our IT service management (ITSM) ticketing system. Creating and maintaining thorough documentation for technical procedures, system configurations, and user guides will be necessary. I will proactively identify recurrent issues and contribute to ongoing solutions and process enhancements.
Description
In addition to the above, I may assist with special projects, such as the setup, configuration, and support of office hardware and Internet of Things (IoT) devices as required. Participation in IT projects, including hardware refreshes, software rollouts, and infrastructure upgrades, will be expected. Other duties and projects may also be assigned as needed. There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position. Preferred qualifications include a bachelorโs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, along with industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MD-102: Endpoint Administrator). Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms and hands-on experience with smart home or office IoT devices is desirable. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and endpoint security tools is also preferred. The work will primarily be conducted in a climate-controlled office, utilizing standard office equipment. The estimated starting annual salary is $91,100, determined by merit, seniority, geographic location, education, training, and experience relevant to the job duties and responsibilities. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime. Benefits include a 401(k) plan with matching, comprehensive insurance coverage, parental leave, and more. Occasional travel may be necessary as business requirements dictate. Physical requirements include remaining seated for 80% of the time, with the ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform tasks requiring dexterity.
