Requirements
Must:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in network engineering
- Expertise in Palo Alto Networks Firewalls, Cisco ASA/FTD, and F5 Load Balancers
- Proficiency in Citrix Netscalers and various Routing and Switching protocols (BGP and EIGRP)
- Familiarity with Authentication Policy servers such as Client or Aruba Clearpass
- Solid understanding of network design principles for both wired and wireless environments
- Extensive experience with Layer 2 design concepts
- Proficient in using Infoblox, SolarWinds, StruxureWare, and Firepower management console
- Strong ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve critical networking issues
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours, including weekends
- Excellent communication and organization skills with a strong focus on meeting deadlines
- Ability to work on-site five days a week
- Competence in configuring, installing, and testing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, load balancers, VPN)
Responsibilities
- Design, install, and maintain network architecture to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor and diagnose network issues swiftly to ensure minimal downtime
- Configure and test network devices and services to meet project requirements
- Collaborate with team members to deploy new network solutions to schedule
- Support and maintain firewalls and load balancers to secure network operations
- Utilize management tools such as SolarWinds and Firepower console for monitoring
- Conduct regular assessments of network performance and design improvements
- Maintain documentation related to network configurations and procedures
