Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in technical support or desktop support roles within an IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN, VPN setup, firewall management, and network troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications with a focus on software troubleshooting and hardware diagnostics.
- Knowledge of IT support tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and remote support utilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality customer service standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for enterprise applications, troubleshooting software and hardware issues related to various operating systems.
- Assist users with VPN connectivity, firewall configurations, and network access issues to ensure secure connections.
- Manage and resolve incidents through ticketing tools while maintaining comprehensive documentation of support activities.
- Support desktop environments by diagnosing and resolving issues related to Microsoft Office, operating systems, and networking components.
- Perform software troubleshooting for applications across different platforms, including installation, configuration, and updates.
- Collaborate with network administrators to address LAN/WAN connectivity challenges and support firewall settings.
- Support help desk operations by delivering timely responses to user inquiries while upholding exceptional customer service standards.
- Assist in configuring and maintaining hardware components, including computers and servers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by documenting typical issues and their resolutions for future reference.
