Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant experience in IT with a diploma
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role related to BI/analytics
- Proficiency in SQL and/or Python, data transformation/storage, analytic platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, Fabric)
- Familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, SAC, Tableau, QlikView, Looker)
- Experience in system automation, maintenance, and support
- Advantageous: Experience with cloud analytic platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake), SAP, DevOps, and components of Power BI (e.g., Power Query, DAX, Dataflow, Gateway)
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee data solutions for collection, transformation, and loading, as well as storage (data lake, warehouse)
- Configure and maintain semantic layers, ensuring data performance, quality, and security
- Engage in DevOps, maintenance, technical support, and improvements (data loads, patches, migrations, training)
- Collaborate with business analysts and IT stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements
