Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science OR a college diploma in Computer Science with relevant experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar BI/analytics role, strong knowledge of databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and/or SQL-like languages, experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Looker) and expertise in data transformation, warehousing, and/or analytics platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse)
- Experience in a manufacturing company, knowledge of SAP is a plus
- Strong analytical mindset, adaptability, independence, resourcefulness, solution-oriented, ability to manage priorities and openness to changes
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements, perform technical design and assessments
- Develop solutions for data collection, transformation, and loading
- Model data and create necessary solutions for data storage (e.g., data lakes, warehouses)
- Configure the semantic layer of Power BI (Front-End) and maintain it
- Create analytical solutions using Power BI (e.g., dashboards, reports, alerts, automated flows)
- Ensure application performance, data quality, and security; conduct necessary testing
- Develop a thorough understanding of business processes and related data
- Collaborate closely with business line clients and other IT stakeholders
- Occasionally operate in project mode for upgrades, maintenance, and user support
