Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Level I: 0 to 24 months of experience in a system administration, cyber security, or related position
- Level II: 2+ years of experience as stated above
- Level III: 4+ years of experience as stated above
- Level IV: 6+ years of experience as stated above
- Level V: 8+ years of experience as stated above
- Equivalent education includes an Associates Degree with extensive operational technology experience
- Certifications such as CISSP, GCIP, MCSA, MCSE, NCP-MCI are desired
- Proficient in Security Patch Management and System Performance Monitoring
- Familiarity with datacenter infrastructure technology, including virtualization and disaster recovery solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Must pass NERC CIP PRA screening
Responsibilities
- Manage system administration activities for Operational Technology systems
- Ensure security and operational readiness for technology supporting real-time operations
- Implement best practices for system administration, including patching and system performance monitoring
- Maintain compliance with NERC Reliability standards and other applicable regulations
- Develop and maintain documentation and processes for system management
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with operational standards
- Participate in on-call support rotation for emergency system needs
- Identify and implement operational process improvements and innovations
- Serve as project engineer for Power Technology projects and oversee milestone achievements
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members in technical processes
