Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in designing and managing technology infrastructure, including cloud-based solutions and system assessments, or a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong familiarity with Active Directory, Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022), and Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).
- Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, alongside services including Microsoft 365.
- Extensive experience with virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices in service management.
- Relevant certifications like AWS Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect are preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities along with strong communication skills.
- Experience with security tools and understanding of network and system security best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage both Windows and Linux desktop and server environments and their related storage infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of both physical and virtual servers, ensuring seamless operational integrity.
- Conduct regular audits on systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Implement automation and configuration management practices effectively.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure the reliable integration and operation of IT systems.
- Prepare detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and software/devices.
- Participate in system security audits and address any findings collaboratively.
- Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability.
