Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 0-6+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or similar roles depending on the level (Engineer I to Engineer V)
- Experience with local and wide area networks, intranets, and IP addressing
- Proficiency in system hardening, patch management, and configuration management
- Skills in designing, programming, or analyzing computer architectures and operating systems
- Familiarity with Security Patch Management, Configuration Management, Firewall Management, Disaster Recovery, Incident Management, and Information Management
- Experience in providing 24/7 support for real-time data communication systems
- Knowledge of virtual environments and IT management systems
- Experience in windows server and SQL Server administration, Linux administration
- Knowledge of compliance environments such as NERC CIP is strongly preferred
- Relevant certifications in Critical Infrastructure, NERC CIP, Cyber Security or Information Systems are advantageous
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop elements of GSOCs physical and cyber security programs
- Manage Power Technology projects aligned with new standards and program development
- Document and implement improvements in technical and operational procedures
- Create and maintain policies and processes related to NERC CIP compliance
- Collaborate with compliance and audit teams to ensure regulatory adherence
- Work with various functional departments to ensure systems are designed and operated in compliance with security policies
- Explore and implement new security technologies to enhance digital operations
- Foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across the organization
