Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with managing cybersecurity tools and implementing secure cloud configurations.
- Proven track record in leading data protection strategies and conducting security investigations.
- Experience can be substituted with a minimum of 8 years in a relevant role for certain positions.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools including but not limited to SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management systems.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate are advantageous.
- Proficiency in endpoint security solutions and a deep understanding of cloud security principles, particularly for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
- Oversee endpoint security management by configuring and operating endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions across corporate systems.
- Design and implement cloud security solutions while ensuring secure configurations for platforms like Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Develop and enforce data protection strategies, including encryption, secure storage, and access control measures.
- Monitor emerging threats and collaborate on security incident responses, analyzing root causes and documenting findings.
- Deploy and maintain cybersecurity tools and associated systems, ensuring efficacy and keeping configurations updated.
- Regularly review and enhance cybersecurity policies, architectures, and standards to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
- Promote compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
