Requirements
Must:
- 4+ years of experience with relational databases (such as Informix, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- 4+ years of experience with Business Intelligence tools (including Jasper, AWS Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong expertise in SQL query development and optimization
- Practical experience with shell/python scripting and version control systems like GIT
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools
- Understanding of AWS services (RDS, Athena, S3)
- Knowledge of columnar databases
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Bachelors degree in computer science or relevant certifications
Responsibilities
- Explore, analyze, and document both structured and unstructured data from various systems
- Create impactful BI dashboards and reports along with automated data feeds for decision-makers
- Develop and fine-tune advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions using techniques such as window functions, CTE, joins, and pivots
- Enhance performance through query optimization and database tuning
- Address and resolve data quality concerns to maintain accuracy and dependability
- Collaborate actively with business stakeholders to convert requirements into actionable insights
- Provide analytics that directly impacts strategy and operational excellence
- Take on additional tasks as assigned
