Requirements
Must:
- Must reside in the Vancouver, British Columbia area
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or an Information Technology certificate from a recognized institution
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- A minimum of 3 years experience as an IT Generalist or in a related role is essential
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows Server technologies
- Familiarity with M365, Active Directory, and Azure
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS
- Knowledge of general cloud technologies
- Proficient in Virtual Infrastructure, including VMware and Hyper-V
- Comprehensive networking skills and ability to understand protocols and configuration
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
- Availability to work beyond standard hours as needed to resolve client issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and thorough
- Strong planning abilities
- Exceptional skills in client communication and relationship management
- Proactive decision-making skills
- Capability to manage projects from inception to completion
- A team-oriented mindset with an outgoing, enthusiastic demeanor
- Passion for staying informed about cutting-edge developments in information technology
- Dedication to learning new technologies
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities
- Utilize both technical expertise and business knowledge to resolve issues at client locations
- Design and implement IT-related scenarios, infrastructure, security, networking, and disaster recovery strategies
- Act as a subject matter expert in IT solutions
- Stay informed of the latest technologies and industry trends
- Monitor and recommend enhancements for the day-to-day functionality of client technology systems
- Research, assess, and suggest new hardware and software to meet client requirements
- Uphold IT strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with client objectives
- Provide technical support and training to users regarding IT systems
- Address questions and resolve IT system challenges both onsite and remotely

In this role, youll engage in various aspects of IT, from software installation to network security monitoring, without focusing exclusively on one area. We value tech-savvy individuals who thrive on the challenges of troubleshooting and updating technology. You will take on multiple roles daily and often lead efforts in overcoming client challenges, while also mentoring team members. This full-time position offers a competitive salary between $85,000 and $105,000 annually, alongside benefits that include casual dress, commuter assistance, company events, dental, health care, life insurance, paid time off, and vision care. We are looking for someone who has a passion for technology and is excited to work with us in Vancouver, BC.
