Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Over 5 years of experience in application security, cybersecurity, access management, and network security
- Practical experience with identity and access management tools
- Knowledge of SOX controls, segregation of duties (SoD), and security for financial applications is advantageous
- Experience in healthcare settings, particularly in hospital systems with HIPAA knowledge, is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking with a keen attention to detail
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee user access for various applications and systems, particularly focusing on SOX compliance for financial systems such as Workday, Gorev, and Waystar
- Utilize security technologies including SIEM, WAF, EDR, XDR, SSO, and MFA
- Lead the implementation of Okta
- Administer and track the performance of additional cybersecurity tools
- Ensure adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements regarding application security and access controls
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate testing and remediation efforts
- Monitor security logs for any unusual access patterns or breaches of policy
- Conduct regular assessments of applications to identify and mitigate potential risks
- Partner with application owners and vendors to resolve vulnerabilities and apply best practices
- Create, update, and enforce application security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure alignment with corporate governance and compliance frameworks
