Requirements
Must:
- Strong proficiency in C, Python, and Rust programming languages
- Proven experience in leading large projects with a small team of engineers
- Familiarity with security technologies such as Secure Boot, AMD SEV, and Intel TDX
- In-depth understanding of OS internals, particularly UNIX/Linux
- Knowledge of x86 architecture, virtualization, storage, and network management
- Experience developing software for Unix/Linux/BSD operating systems at both kernel and user levels
- Proficiency in C/C++, multi-threading, algorithms, and data structures on Linux
- Exceptional debugging skills in Linux kernel mode
- Previous involvement in open source projects, including Qemu, libvirt, and the kernel is advantageous
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 10+ years of experience
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of Nutanixs Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV)
- Guide and mentor a team of 5-6 engineers, overseeing projects from inception to completion
- Design and implement new AHV security features, including confidential computing initiatives
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing AHV security functionalities
- Advocate for enhancements in the reliability, performance, and security of AHV
- Engage with open source communities to foster collaboration and innovation
- Lead the product feature development process from concept to execution
