Requirements
Must:
- 7-10+ years of user research experience related to web and/or cloud products.
- Experience in the cloud computing domain is essential.
- Ability to articulate the business impact arising from successful research initiatives.
- B2B experience is mandatory.
- Strong skills in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Proficiency in analyzing telemetry data using tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Comprehensive understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting to stakeholders and creating reports.
- Ability to distill and translate research findings into actionable design enhancements.
- Experience in designing user journeys and conducting contextual inquiries.
- Bachelors degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement extensive user research projects to identify user needs and behaviors across our product lineup.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to incorporate user research insights into the product development process.
- Develop and execute research protocols using both qualitative and quantitative techniques to inform design decisions.
- Utilize telemetry data and analytics tools to gain insights into user interactions and drive strategies for product optimization.
- Monitor user engagement through dashboards and other reporting tools, tracking development over time.
- Mentor junior researchers and designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and user-centered design within the team.
- Advocate for user needs by effectively sharing research findings and user stories with stakeholders and leadership.
- Set key goals for the first year, focusing on establishing a solid research strategy for flagship products and nurturing a user-focused design culture.
