Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline preferred
- 7+ years of experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in QA
- Proven track record in writing and executing comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts
- Extensive experience performing user acceptance testing, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing
- Ability to assess user requirements for testability and traceability
- Knowledge in creating flowcharts, workflows, and data flow diagrams
- Expertise in QA management and documentation
- Skilled in mapping business processes into test documentation
- Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Solid understanding of database and software development concepts
- Experience with database entity design, SQL Server, PL/SQL, and Oracle
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and DevOps practices
- Competent in development using C# and Stored Procedures
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with Microsoft Visio and creating technical documentation
Responsibilities
- Validate SQL outputs and ETL development to guarantee data accuracy and compliance with business rules
- Create and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and validation scripts specifically for Azure Synapse pipelines and data transformations
- Reconcile data discrepancies between source systems, staging areas, and curated data layers within Azure Data Lake or Synapse
- Conduct regression, performance, and user acceptance testing to ensure system reliability
- Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to document and resolve data inconsistencies
- Maintain structured QA documentation, including test plans, issue logs, and validation processes
- Assist in developing automated data quality checks using SQL, Python, or similar tools
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of QA frameworks, testing methodologies, and DevOps integration
