Requirements
Must:
- 10+ years of experience in Java development
- 10+ years of experience in Java EE
- 10+ years of experience with Maven
- 10+ years of experience in Git repository management
- 5+ years of experience with GitHub Actions
- 8+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server
- 5+ years of experience in Jython scripting
- 5+ years of experience in Unix/Bash scripting
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams
- Experience with enterprise application modernization and DevOps toolchains
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Responsibilities
- Migrate Java/JEE applications from Eclipse/RAD formats to Maven-based builds
- Integrate projects into GitHub repositories and establish CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Collaborate with the Automation team to automate build and publishing processes
- Work alongside the Operations team to optimize and automate deployments to WebSphere Application Server
- Develop and maintain Unix shell and Jython scripts for build and deployment automation
- Ensure adherence to best practices in source control, build configuration, and deployment management
