Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree (preferably in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field)
- Over 7 years of strong verbal and written communication skills with both business and technical teams
- More than 7 years of experience collaborating with project managers, architects, and developers
- 7+ years of expertise in translating stakeholder requirements into clear, structured documentation (BRD, FDD, TDD, use cases, user stories, RTM, test cases)
- Proficient in creating business process diagrams, data flowcharts, and workflows for over 7 years
- Hands-on experience with quality assurance and test case management spanning 7+ years
- Familiarity with software and database development concepts for more than 7 years
- 7+ years as a Technical Business Analyst on software development projects
- Strong documentation skills for enterprise systems and end users for over 7 years
- Expertise in business process mapping and requirements management for 7+ years
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum methodologies for over 7 years
- Preferred skills in MS Visio or similar process modeling tools
- Experience with Figma or equivalent UI/UX design tools
- Knowledge of SQL and database entity design
- Familiarity with education data systems or Common Education Data Standards (CEDS)
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Strong background in data visualization and analytical reporting
Responsibilities
- Elicit, document, and analyze detailed business requirements to uncover opportunities, challenges, and solutions
- Develop and maintain comprehensive business and technical documentation, including requirement specifications, design documents, user guides, and training manuals
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and developers to ensure that business requirements are accurately interpreted into technical deliverables
- Create workflow charts, process diagrams, and data flow models to represent system capabilities and needs
- Convert stakeholder requirements into functional and technical specifications, ensuring clarity and traceability
- Analyze current-state business processes to recommend enhancements for system improvement
- Communicate complex technical concepts in an accessible manner for non-technical stakeholders, and vice versa
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) to confirm that solutions align with business needs and expectations
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement, documentation standards, and Agile team collaboration
