Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Process, Electrical, Automation Engineering, or a related field
- OR 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance and automation
- Familiarity with aSa software is preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in a reinforcing steel fabrication environment is a plus
- Ability to perform some heavy lifting as required
- Willingness to work in various conditions that may be noisy, dusty, hot, or cold
- Must be open to frequent travel to regional branches
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Production teams to enhance safety and optimize fabrication processes
- Train team members across various locations to ensure consistent performance and knowledge exchange
- Utilize engineering principles and techniques to troubleshoot and enhance both processes and equipment
- Develop and implement improvement strategies that involve hardware and software systems
- Provide support outside of standard business hours as necessary, including flexible schedules for overtime and weekends
- Assist with regional maintenance initiatives and promote cross-site collaboration
- Adapt to changing responsibilities as directed by the area Supervisor/Manager in response to operational needs
- Regularly travel to other regional locations to identify improvement opportunities, resolve issues, and share best practices
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor
- Uphold safety measures and demonstrate the ability to initiate and lead safety policies and procedures at all times
