Requirements
Must:
- 5 years of experience with the ServiceNow platform, demonstrating a thorough understanding of its features and functionalities.
- At least 7 years in leadership roles, focusing on motivating technical teams while serving as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Minimum of 2 years in strategic planning and developing roadmaps for ServiceNow implementations.
- Multiple ServiceNow certifications, indicative of a comprehensive grasp of the platform (CSA, CIS, CAD, CTA).
- Experience and/or certifications in Agile/SCRUM methodologies, with a history of leading scrum teams and managing backlogs.
- Proven consulting expertise as a key technical lead in creating and delivering ITSM solutions within client settings.
- Familiarity with product lines such as ITSM, CSM, HR, ITBM, ITOM, Performance Analytics, SecOps, or HW/SW Asset Management.
- Basic knowledge of essential technologies related to ServiceNow integration solutions, such as SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, and FTPS.
- Proficient in scripting within the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript (Business Rules, client scripts, UI actions, UI pages, AngularJS, Jelly, etc.).
- Strong active listening and interpersonal communication skills to effectively address and convey solutions to technical challenges without jargon.
- ITIL knowledge preferred, certification is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Preferred college degree (or equivalent) in computer science or information technology.
- Capability to obtain a Public Trust (High) Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical consultants and developers in delivering services that meet customer contracts, service level agreements, and industry best practices.
- Act as the main technical contact for projects, representing the development team to clients.
- Ensure high quality in the work produced by the technical team, addressing client concerns and enhancing team efficiency.
- Develop architectural and design-level technical solutions aligned with clients business challenges and ServiceNow implementation best practices.
- Grasp customer needs, translate them into quality technical solutions, and effectively communicate and deliver to clients.
- Write and estimate stories, oversee developer performance, and ensure overall quality and timely project delivery.
- Guide the technical onboarding processes for new clients to grasp their existing practices and platform setups.
- Provide any purchased development artifacts, documentation, and knowledge transfer as needed.
- Collaborate with the engagement manager to monitor scope changes and resolve major technical issues.
- Mentor technical consultants and developers on design standards and industry best practices.
- Stay updated on the ServiceNow platform and its product offerings.
- Assist the pre-sales team in scoping service engagements that often involve multiple ServiceNow products and intricate client integrations.
- Research technology partners or vendor solutions relevant to client integration requirements.
- Contribute to ongoing enhancements of Delivery Services processes and knowledge portfolios per customer needs.
- Manage all technical aspects of delivering complex client solutions on the ServiceNow platform, advising on best practices for maximizing value and user satisfaction.
- Establish a strategic roadmap for ServiceNow implementation based on client needs.
- Provide feedback to governance committees to maintain alignment with the strategic roadmap.
- Participate in multiple Agile project teams, utilizing NuAxiss Continuous Transformation methodology for improved project outcomes.
- Engage in sprint planning, including reviewing stories against business requirements and managing development orders logically in a virtual setting.
- Contribute to code reviews and help organize Go-Live planning activities.
- Estimate technical work units and forecast changes to Program/Project Managers when necessary.
- Assist in discovery workshops and work closely with Business Analysts to specify customer requirements.
- Engage in internal knowledge-sharing and collaborative initiatives.
