Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree preferred.
- COMP Tia A+ Certification required within 90 business days of hiring.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a high-volume enterprise-level call center, help desk, or service desk environment.
- Strong critical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in active listening and effective communication.
- Experience with Enterprise Ticketing Applications (preferably BMC Remedy Service Management).
- Familiarity with Active Directory.
- Knowledge of VPN technologies (Global Protect).
- Experience using remote support software (such as Bomgar).
- Proficient in supporting Office 365 applications (including Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, etc.).
- Competence in handling mobile devices (Android and iOS).
- Experience in software installations.
- Familiarity with various web browsers (Google Chrome, Edge, Mozilla Firefox).
- Experience providing printer support.
- Familiarity with network drive support.
- Knowledge of operating systems, specifically Windows 11.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote telephone and email-based IT operational support services.
- Deliver Help Desk and Service Desk support over the phone.
- Take ownership of, track, troubleshoot, and resolve IT incidents and service requests.
- Fulfill requests and resolve incidents daily, ensuring service-related issues are addressed within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain a service-oriented mindset and high sense of responsibility for managing and resolving issues effectively.
- Keep technology customers informed of their request status and proactively escalate unresolved issues within designated time frames.
