Requirements
Must:
- Associates degree in IT or a related field, or comparable experience
- Over 2 years of practical experience in a help desk or desktop support role
- Proficient troubleshooting abilities with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365
- Experience supporting mobile devices in a corporate setting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Capability to work autonomously in a dynamic federal environment
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and successfully pass a federal background check
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with federal agencies or in a government contracting setting
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, Remedy, or other ITSM/ticketing platforms
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL Foundation
Responsibilities
- Offer Tier 1 IT assistance for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and tablets
- Address user inquiries via phone, email, and in-person support channels
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with Apple iPads, iPhones, and Android devices
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop hardware and software
- Monitor and manage IT service tickets, escalating complex problems as necessary
- Participate in deploying equipment and system upgrades
- Communicate the status of pending requests, outages, and maintenance tasks to end-users
- Maintain necessary documentation and knowledge base articles
- Work collaboratively with server and network teams to address cross-functional challenges
