Requirements
Must:
- An associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least one year of experience in installing and maintaining network systems, including firewalls/routers, switches, and access points.
- A minimum of one year of experience with MS Windows server operating and application systems.
- At least one year of experience with MS Windows workstation operating and application systems, including the Microsoft Office suite and MS Office O365 cloud environment.
- A minimum of one year of experience applying anti-virus, web filtering, email filtering, and business continuity systems.
- At least one year of experience in structured cabling.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
Responsibilities
- I prioritize customer service by actively engaging with customers to understand and accomplish their priorities and objectives, serving as their primary point of contact.
- I respond positively to complaints, problems, and difficult situations, ensuring I'm proactive in finding resolutions.
- I recommend tailored solutions to our customers, including laptops, desktops, access points, and backup solutions.
- Communication is key; I keep peers, customers, and managers informed about trends, significant problems, unexpected delays, and other updates that affect the computing environment.
- I ensure customers are informed about the progress of unresolved issues and leverage tools like Lead Agent (Salesforce.com) to track all billable and unbillable work.
- I document customer networks in IT Glue and lead problem-solving efforts, often collaborating with external vendors.
- I support approved software applications such as Microsoft Office and other standard desktop/laptop systems while striving to identify root causes of issues to eliminate recurring problems.
- I am responsible for executing projects on time and within budget, using my foresight to manage deadlines effectively.
- I stay current on technologies relevant to the customer's environment and provide necessary training and education regarding our services and products.
- I am willing to perform additional related duties as required.
