Requirements
Must:
- Over 3 years of experience in VB6 development.
- Strong expertise in SQL, including stored procedures and functions using ADO in a client-server context.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A keen interest and eagerness to learn both legacy and new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with QA, Product Management, and Design teams to implement new functions, enhancements, and custom solutions for clients.
- Maintain and enhance existing software components built in VB6 and VB.NET.
- Produce and manage reports using Crystal Reports.
- Gather and refine user requirements through stakeholder collaboration, documenting the process accordingly.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on newly developed features.
- Engage in occasional travel to client locations (international trips may be required).
