Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of relevant professional experience required.
- At least 2 years of experience with SQL, Python, and cloud technologies (such as AWS, Databricks, Spark, Distributed File Systems, CI/CD, and scheduling tools like Control-M).
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment principles and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of Data Engineering and Data Warehousing.
- Understanding of the Investments Data domain.
- Experience mentoring new team members.
- Strong communication skills to interact with business stakeholders.
- At least 1 year of experience with NodeJS, React, Kubernetes, Docker, and SonarQube.
- Ability to develop new integrations with APIs and implement event-driven design.
- Lead automation initiatives and advocate for unit test code coverage.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux, ETL, AWS, and BI Tools is a plus.
- Understanding of building applications using Java is desirable.
- Previous experience with Production Batch support is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining a sustainable wealth data application, focusing on advisory investment products and processes.
- Work within a skilled team of software engineers to evolve and deliver essential projects in the Wealth division.
- Develop and maintain data applications while ensuring scalability and sustainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new solutions effectively.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in technology and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives.
- Create and implement new API integrations and apply event-driven design.
- Champion automation efforts to improve efficiency and ensure code quality through unit testing.
