Requirements

Must:
- Over 10 years of experience in information security or infrastructure engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with essential IAM platforms. - Extensive knowledge of our IAM stack. - Strong practical experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory as core directory services, along with substantial experience implementing federation protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth2). - Proven success in designing and delivering IAM solutions in hybrid multi-cloud environments, including automating provisioning, access reviews, and RBAC/ABAC models. - Familiarity with secrets management solutions. - Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (such as PowerShell, Python, or Java) for automation and creating custom connectors for our IAM systems. - Exceptional communication skills capable of conveying complex technical details regarding our IAM ecosystem to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong ownership mentality with the capacity to operate with limited guidance. - Advanced ability to break down work for incremental value delivery. - Experience in leading large-scale IAM initiatives. - Previous role as a technical lead or architect for IAM, including mentoring teams and influencing roadmaps beyond immediate oversight. - Demonstrated capability to balance security, usability, and operational effectiveness, emphasizing automation and measurable risk reduction.

Responsibilities

- Manage the comprehensive technical design of IAM services, overseeing identity lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, SSO, and privileged access controls while ensuring security, scalability, and high availability. - Spearhead the design and implementation of IAM integrations for SaaS, on-premise, and AWS cloud platforms, incorporating federation (SAML, OIDC, OAuth), MFA, and passwordless technologies. - Act as the primary point of escalation for intricate IAM engineering challenges; conduct root cause analyses and drive long-term solutions and bolstering of IAM platforms and associated services. - Collaborate with security architecture, infrastructure, application, and HR/IT teams to ensure IAM solutions align with enterprise security strategy, compliance needs, and business goals. - Establish IAM engineering standards, practices, and reference architectures; guide other engineers in secure application onboarding into IGA, PAM, and SSO platforms. - Lead initiatives focused on modernization. - Contribute to audits, risk assessments, and regulatory reviews by supplying technical evidence, designing compensatory controls, and addressing identified IAM control deficiencies. - Mentor and coach IAM engineers and analysts, fostering engineering excellence, documentation practices, and a culture of continuous learning and development.
