Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with a focus in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Significant hands-on technical and analytical experience from previous professional, educational, or personal initiatives.
- Knowledge of networking principles including DNS, IP, NAT, VLANs, and subnetting.
- Proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating systems, along with familiarity with command line interfaces.
- Understanding of the OSI Model and web/network protocols such as TCP, UDP, and HTTP/S.
- Competence in one or more scripting or programming languages, including Python, JavaScript, Java, Ruby, Go, PowerShell, Bash, C#, or C/C++.
- Basic understanding of cryptography concepts to safeguard data.
- Capacity to independently identify and resolve issues using effective problem-solving techniques.
- Proven ability to act with integrity, take pride in ones work, show curiosity, and adapt to changes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clarify the impact of vulnerabilities and recommend solutions to various audiences.

Responsibilities
- Support the evaluation of vulnerabilities as directed.
- Assist in the development of a vulnerability management platform for reporting and automated governance.
- Generate and present vulnerability metrics to management by executing custom queries.
- Help gather reporting and regulatory information as needed.
- Maintain and enhance vulnerability scanning practices.
- Oversee configuration management for vulnerability management, Cloud Security, and Application Security tools; coordinate upgrades and maintenance activities as instructed.
- Automate repetitive tasks through scripting.
