Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in software installation via SCCM
- Experience documenting processes in ServiceNow tickets
- Capable of maintaining an updated inventory of computers
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interactions via chat, phone, tickets, and face-to-face
- Committed to adhering to county policies and procedures
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow established protocols
- Customer-service oriented
- Familiarity with Windows devices, including troubleshooting and support
Responsibilities
- Execute a comprehensive refresh of laptop assets, provisioning and deploying new Windows laptops and desktops using Microsoft Autopilot
- Install necessary software on devices utilizing SCCM
- Keep accurate records of actions taken within ServiceNow tickets
- Regularly update the inventory of computer assets
- Engage with customers and colleagues through various channels including chat, phone, tickets, and in-person interactions
- Ensure compliance with county policies and procedures throughout all tasks
Description
We are seeking a Desktop Support / Deployment Technician for a long-term position based in Portland, OR. This onsite role involves managing a complete laptop asset refresh. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on providing exceptional service in a supportive environment.
