Requirements
Must:
- 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree; 3 years with a Masters degree; 1 year with a PhD; additional 4 years may substitute for degree for Principal VMware Systems Architect
- 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors in Science; 6 years with a Masters; 4 years with a PhD; additional 4 years may substitute for degree for Senior Principal VMware Systems Architect
- Active SCI/CI Poly required at time of application
- Current Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar DoD 8570 security certification
- Extensive background with VMware systems
- Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Classified VMware environments
- Proven track record in managing systems within current cyber compliance standards in closed areas
Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and design VMware information systems to meet diverse infrastructure needs
- Provide senior engineering guidance and lead development of VMware architectures
- Communicate project status effectively with program leadership
- Collaborate with teams to ensure systems are engineered to secure standards
- Optimize processes for improved system performance and reliability
