Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited institution and 5 years of relevant experience, or a Masters Degree in STEM with 3 years of experience, or 1 year of experience with a PhD in a STEM field.
- Strong comprehension of systems engineering principles and processes, with a proven track record in applying them to create product solutions.
- Familiarity with software development and the validation of requirements.
- Experience with large-scale missile defense systems, such as GMD.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and effectively present concepts in various formats including work products and discussions.
- Ability to function both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work in a closed-area environment.
- Current active DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the application time is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time as required by business needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Systems Engineering Team for the Ground Fire Control (GFC) product.
- Engage in the requirements development process that directly enhances the design and evolution of GWS capabilities for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
- Thrive in a dynamic work atmosphere characterized by high standards, diverse tasks, and collaborative teamwork across various experience levels.
