Must:
We require candidates to meet the following basic qualifications:
- For Level 2: An Associate's degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a High School diploma or equivalent with 6 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.
- For Level 3: An Associate's degree with 7 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience. A High School diploma or equivalent with 9 years of relevant experience may also be considered.
- All candidates must possess a current DoD Secret level security clearance (adjudicated within the last 5 years) and must be eligible for Top Secret clearance, maintaining security clearance as a condition of continued employment.
- Candidates should be able to obtain and sustain access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment.
- A Security CE or equivalent certification is required and must be maintained.
- Experience in supporting large user populations in a secure environment is necessary.
- Candidates must have experience with at least one of the following: Windows (desktop and server), Linux (Red Hat or HPC), VMware, Storage Systems (SAN, NAS, DAS), or CISCO networks.
Responsibilities
In this role, my expectations are that candidates will:
- Serve as the primary Systems or Network Administrator for a classified government contract.
- Communicate effectively at all organizational levels, both internally and externally, in both written and verbal formats.
- Ensure the smooth operation of multi-user computer systems by coordinating with network, software, and system engineers, PC desktop technicians, project managers, end users, and customer and IT management.
- Support multiple networks while ensuring necessary administration tasks are completed and directing others as necessary.
- Analyze both internal and external customer requirements to identify equipment and software needs as solutions to problems through automated systems.
- Recommend and implement system enhancements to improve system performance and reliability, including tasks such as installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.
- Provide backup and recovery services, manage file systems and disk space, and regularly manage virus protection.
- Create and maintain user and computer accounts, modifying file permissions and security access lists as needed.
- Test new product releases to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact.
- Develop and document technical processes and procedures as required.
- Recommend purchases for hardware, software, and system components.
- Function as a point of contact for discussions with vendors, troubleshoot issues, and evaluate vendor products, services, and suggestions.
- Strictly adhere to Information Systems security guidelines at all times.
- Maintain security audit and logging information on classified networked and standalone computers as directed by the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).
- Prepare security documentation for input to Computer Security.
- Report project status as required for all recurring and non-recurring efforts.
- Work under minimal supervision, independently formulating and developing approaches to solutions.
Description
We offer a compensation range between $81,300.00 and $150,000.00, and for certain roles, this may extend up to $187,300.00. This salary range serves as a general guideline, as various factors such as position scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and current market conditions will influence final base salary offers. Depending on the role, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differentials, and discretionary bonuses in addition to their base salary. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in the company’s success. Employees in Vice President or Director roles may qualify for Long-Term Incentives. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacations or personal business.
