Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline or a Master of Science with a minimum of 10-12 years of systems engineering experience
- Proven background in requirements decomposition, integration, verification planning, and requirement execution
- Comprehensive experience in the entire systems engineering lifecycle for intricate defense or weapon systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers, management, and clients in a detailed and systematic manner
- Must possess a current US Government DoD Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage requirements, ensuring proper traceability from customer needs to system specifications
- Conduct functional analysis and systems trade studies to identify technical solutions across various phases including concept, design, and maintenance
- Aid in the integration, testing, and verification of systems and subsystems
- Define and monitor system technical performance metrics
- Prepare comprehensive documentation including system and subsystem requirements, interface documents, and verification materials
- Create and present engineering materials for various program reviews including System Requirements Review and Design Reviews
- Uphold engineering rigor through established processes and documentation standards
- Collaborate with diverse teams for optimal program execution
- Support Program Management in meeting cost and schedule targets
- Contribute to proposal efforts and assist in the technical volume development.
