Specialty Test Engineer (Senior/Specialist)

- Ensure product quality by developing production test equipment for military/aerospace products, including programming, debugging, and production deployment. - Create, develop, and implement efficient testing methods for Design Verification Testing (DVT). - Maintain and update test equipment for functional board-level and final acceptance tests. - Gain an understanding of multiple product functionalities to optimize test time and propose additional testing methodologies. - Co-lead design reviews focused on testability. - Assist in the fabrication of fixtures, order parts, and manage supplier relationships. - Design test and diagnostic programs, including test fixtures and instrument racks. - Collect data and identify necessary changes in test equipment, procedures, manufacturing processes, or test requirements. - Select appropriate sensors and instrumentation while understanding product requirements to devise a comprehensive test strategy. - Act as a liaison among Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and other teams to ensure new product designs can be manufactured efficiently and with high quality. Perform Design for Testability and coverage analysis. - Translate customer requirements into test cases for DVT and production testing.
