Requirements
Must:
- Current technical role on the GWS IDT Product Team
- Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline preferred from an accredited institution
- 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Systems Integration and Test engineering, or a related field; or 3 years with a Masters degree; or 1 year with a PhD
- Prior experience in leading technical teams
- Knowledge of staffing practices, engineering metrics, training resources, and agile processes
- Ability to travel up to 10% for business needs
- Active DoD Secret security clearance at the time of application
Responsibilities
- Oversee staffing, employee development, and enhancement of engineering practices
- Apply leadership skills to achieve and maintain high performance for yourself and your team
- Lead subordinate department managers in their support of engineering teams, totaling around 10 personnel
- Facilitate effective collaboration, communication, and problem-solving
- Uphold ethics and integrity while fostering innovation
- Collaborate with various sites, stakeholders, and functions to drive exceptional results
- Adapt to a fast-paced work environment with diverse assignments and teamwork across all levels
