Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a STEM field plus 12 years of relevant engineering experience, OR
- Masters degree with 10 years of progressive technical experience in engineering, OR
- PhD with 8 years of advanced technical experience in engineering
- Must possess a valid U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at application, current and within scope
- Capability to acquire and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance
- Proficient in managing customer relations and expectations, while building partnerships with clients, government personnel, and other contractors
- Demonstrated technical leadership skills with the ability to guide skilled teams
- Experience in the development and modernization of large-scale C4 systems
- Minimum five years of technical leadership in roles such as IPT lead, Chief Engineer, or Architect
- Background in leading the creation of cost and technical proposals
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, able to effectively convey complex ideas succinctly
Responsibilities
- Leverage deep knowledge of Missile Defense Systems to oversee the technical foundation of the program
- Support the Prime Contractor in managing the daily operations of the Missile Defense National Team (MDNT)
- Supervise the execution of project processes, including planning, risk assessment, integration, and scope management
- Lead Northrop Grumman personnel and subcontractors involved in the program, ensuring they have the necessary resources for engineering excellence
- Collaborate with the government client at the Senior Executive Service level and with team members across the MDNT
- Execute additional tasks as required
