Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited institution and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a Masters Degree with 6 years of experience, or a PhD with 4 years of experience in a similar field. - Current Secret Security Clearance from the Department of Defense (DoD). - Strong technical leadership experience in Missile Defense systems development. - Excellent interpersonal abilities for effective communication with teams and stakeholders, including strong verbal and written communication skills. - Proven capability to manage initiatives in Agile and DevSecOps environments. - Experience in managing customer and stakeholder relationships. - Demonstrated expertise in creating executive-level presentations and briefings. - Proven ability to lead teams and execute tasks within cost and technical boundaries. - Strong problem-solving abilities related to technical and organizational challenges. - Involvement in proposal activities, including basis of estimate (BOE) development and writing contributions. - Commitment to ethics and integrity, with a readiness to innovate and challenge traditional methods. - Familiarity with Engineering Processes and Procedures, particularly Systems and Software Development. - A diverse skill set that balances interpersonal, business, and technical expertise. - Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) or relevant earned value certification/training.

Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and integrate the Ground-based Midcourse Defense Fire Control roadmap in collaboration with the GFC Architect to ensure alignment with contractual milestones. - Oversee the GFC backlog, product team dashboards, and release planning while coordinating with the Ground Weapon Systems release management team. - Take ownership of reporting GFC metrics for each sprint and planning iteration, including quantifiable backup data and velocity. - Ensure successful cross-team alignment and integration, identifying and documenting dependencies to resolve issues promptly. - Clearly communicate statuses, issues, and recommended actions to senior leadership, including mitigation strategies. - Assist in identifying and managing execution risks and opportunities for GFC projects. - Support the GFC Product Manager in meeting key performance objectives and participate in associated reviews. - Help provide cost and schedule solutions to align product team needs with available resources. - Prepare for and participate in technical and program management reviews with both internal and external stakeholders. - Understand the engineering development lifecycle across various disciplines, emphasizing Software and Systems Engineering. - Gain experience in Agile execution, DevSecOps, and related development tools.
