Sentinel Sr Principal DevOps Engineer

- We require 8 years of experience with a bachelors degree in science, 6 years with a masters degree, 4 years with a PhD, or 4 additional years of relevant experience in place of a degree. - We require U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance. - We require willingness to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP). - We require experience with build tools such as Maven, Ant, or GNU Make, and/or CI environments such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bamboo, and/or repositories such as Nexus or JFrog in a Linux environment. - We require 3 years of experience using Jira and Confluence in an Agile setting. - We require 5 years of experience with Microsoft and Red Hat Linux operating systems. - We require 5 years of experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Bash, or YAML. - We require 3 years of experience with Kubernetes implementation and Day 2 operations in a CI/CD environment. - We require 3 years of experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, Terraform, vCenter, vSphere, or similar virtual provisioning platforms. - We require 3 years of experience with container technologies. - We prefer a bachelors degree in a STEM discipline. - We prefer experience with automation or configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or similar solutions. - We prefer experience using source code configuration management tools such as Git. - We prefer experience with HashiCorp Packer and Vault. - We prefer familiarity with container hardening and SBOM practices. - We prefer an IAT II certification, such as Security+ CE, or the ability to obtain it within 6 months. - We prefer strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. - We prefer strong critical thinking and logical reasoning abilities with a demonstrated talent for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
