Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field from an accredited institution with 8 years of pertinent engineering experience, or a Masters degree with 6 years, or a PhD with 4 years of experience.
- Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance with a reinvestigation completed in the past 6 years.
- U.S. Citizenship and capability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
- Prior internship, co-op, or relevant work experience demonstrating leadership and teamwork skills, alongside effective communication abilities.
- Proficiency in synthesizing information from various sources to develop and implement coherent plans.
- Familiarity with security coding standards, static and dynamic analysis tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, and Coverity.
- Experience with programming and scripting in a UNIX environment (C++, Perl, Python, Bash, Ruby, Shell scripts).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug software and system applications.
- Conduct interdisciplinary research and collaborate with hardware engineers and equipment designers in the planning and execution of embedded systems for critical safety and mission operations.
- Collaborate with a team of software engineers in an Agile setup to achieve significant project milestones.
- Ensure adherence to all mandated software compliance standards and criteria.
- Develop within a continuous integration toolchain environment to meet technical and compliance specifications.
- Create and maintain continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Write automation scripts for software testing, deployment, and maintenance adhering to industry best practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment pipelines, address issues, and resolve errors.
- Automate deployments and configurations of infrastructure and/or cloud resources utilizing infrastructure-as-code tools.
