Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree with 12 years of relevant experience; 10 Years with Masters; 8 Years with PhD; or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance.
- Capability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval.
- 4 years of experience with build tools (i.e., Maven, Ant, GNU make) and/or continuous integration environments (i.e., Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo) and/or repositories (i.e. Nexus, JFROG).
- 2 years of experience with Jira/Confluence in an Agile setting.
- Proficient in Linux-based software development tools.
- 4 years of experience in Microsoft and Linux Red Hat operating systems.
- 4 years of experience with scripting languages (i.e. PERL, Python, Bash, YAML).
- 4 years of DevOps experience with container technologies supporting CI/CD pipeline development.
- 4 years of experience with container orchestration tools (i.e. Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift). Experience with Virtualization Technologies.
- Ability to obtain Northrop Grumman Cost Account Management (CAM) certification within 3 months of hire.
- Hold or have the capability to obtain Security + CE (or other DoD 8570/8140 certification) within 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the design, configuration, and maintenance of infrastructure or cloud resources necessary for reliable application hosting and support through all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Develop and uphold continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Write scripts and configurations to automate software testing, deployment, and maintenance in accordance with software engineering best practices.
- Proactively oversee build and deployment pipelines and infrastructure, apply updates, troubleshoot issues, and resolve errors.
- Automate infrastructure or cloud resource deployments and configurations using infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Address findings from vulnerability scans and penetration testing.
- Informally guide other team members in DevOps concepts and processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues and business partners to identify automation opportunities that enhance efficiency or reduce costs.
- Deliver application support, configurations, installations, and troubleshooting assistance.
- Diagnose technical issues, pinpoint causes, determine potential solutions, and remediate existing application problems.
- Act as Product Owner managing priorities, scope, and schedule as required.
- Serve as Work Package Lead for your product scope as needed.
