Requirements

Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a masters degree with no prior experience for Systems Engineer (level 2) - Must possess a valid US citizenship and hold an active DoD Secret Clearance with a recent investigation - Capable of undergoing screening for Enhanced Security Clearances in a timely manner - Minimum of 1 year of experience in developing or reviewing requirements using DOORS or a similar tool - At least 1 year of experience with ICBM systems or complex aerospace/defense technologies - For Principal Systems Engineer (level 3): a bachelors degree in STEM with 5 years of experience, or 3 years with a masters degree, or 1 year with a PhD, with management experience considered as equivalent - At least 2 years of experience in developing or reviewing requirements using DOORS or a comparable tool for level 3 candidates - Proficient understanding of ICBM systems or complex aerospace/defense technologies for level 3 candidates

Responsibilities

- Execute Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and develop various system engineering models - Collaborate effectively with System Engineering and Command & Launch Segment teams - Conduct system, segment, and element level trade studies - Define high-level functional and performance requirements along with their verification methods - Analyze, decompose, and allocate requirements to architectural elements - Assist in preparing and presenting technical charts for milestone meetings - Identify necessary contractual deliverables and ensure proper updates are made - Collaborate with diverse engineering design teams to maintain the technical baseline
